This design is inspired by a colorful, whimsical arch which spans over Mechanic Street in the historic downtown area of Galveston, Texas. The arch was commissioned by Galvestonian George Mitchell and created for the City's 1986 Mardi Gras celebration. It is an iconic Galveston landmark. Overall the sign was awesome! Good quality was a little bummed that it got mashed in transport. The sign definitely has creases where the box got smashed. Had it not been squished it would have been great! .
