Mardi Gras 2015 falls on Tuesday, February 17. Visitors, please note: Parades will begin on February 6th. Check our Parade Schedule section for specifics. The most popular time to visit New Orleans is the extended weekend before Mardi Gras (February 13- 17). Come then and you'll be sure to catch the most popular parades, like Endymion, Bacchus, Zulu, Rex and all of the festive celebrations throughout the whole city.
Mardi Gras, or "Fat Tuesday," is the last day of the Carnival season as it always falls the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Most visitors will plan to arrive no later than Saturday, February 14, 2015 in order to enjoy an extended weekend of festivities.Laissez le bon temps rouler!

Mardi Gras colors. Rex selected the official Mardi Gras colors in 1872. The 1892 Rex Parade theme Symbolism of Colors gave meaning to the colors:purple represents justice; green, faith; and gold, power. Remember to wear the Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold during Mardi Gras whenever you're not in costume!

Absolutely love it! My dad has an HHR SS Panel, which was an extremely limited production vehicle (just over 200 made). So of course finding him anything with HIS vehicle on it is quite difficult. Definitely a gift he is going to love for sure! Image quality looks great! Can’t comment yet on how well it will holds after multiple trips through washing and drying, but it appears as though this should hold up pretty decent. Doesn’t feel stiff like some other name brands I’ve bought in the past that did not survive the best.

I am happy with my purchase. The tee shirt is a nice quality. Not too thin, but not high end. It is what I had expected. I am happy with the color and the design. I am giving it as a gift, so I don't yet know anything about fading. The sizing looks to be true. The printing looks very nice. The colors are not bright, which is what I was expecting.
