This qaint pretty little town is named after the river, which is presumed to have been named after Margaret Whicher, a cousin of John Garrett Bussell (founder of Busselton) in 1831. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839. Mostly English and some Irish and Scottish migrants lived in the area as early as 1850, with timber logging commencing in around 1870.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
