Martin Luther's Drinking Glass Frosted Glass Beer Mug

This mug was created based on a quote from a biography of MartinLuther. ...A word may be said at this point also about Luther's drinking. He imbibed and took some pride in his capacity. He had a mug around which were three rings. The first he said represented the 10 Commandments, the second the apostles creed, and the third the Lords prayer. Luther was highly amused that he was able to drain the glass of wine through the Lords prayer, where his friend Agricola could not get beyond the 10 Commandments. So if Luther and beer/wine drinking appeal to you this is the mug for you. The mug is made in China and the funny thing about it though is if you look carefully, it appears that "The Lord's Prayer" is actually engraved as the "The Lord's Praner" And the Apostle's Creed appears to be "The Upostles Greed." This could be an indicator that more missionary work needs to be done in China. An increase in English teachers may also be warranted.

The mug actually exceeded my expectations. It has a very substantial feel to it and is enjoyable to use. The printing is very nice - just as expected. Since the mug is frosted glass, I knew the colors would be more subdued than the image online. Since I could add my initial, I can now keep up with my mug.

I am the creator of this product and ordered several for my husband and I to give as gifts to some couples who had been great sources of encouragement to us during his ongoing illness. I am writing this review based on what some of them have shared with me. We had all of the mugs shipped directly to the recipients. I was in the process of ordering more for some other couples when I came across some bad reviews here. I got concerned and asked some of the previous recipients about their mugs they had received from us. This first picture is one taken by my sister-in-law of the mugs we gifted to her and her husband about six months ago. As you can see, the mugs turned out beautifully (even better than I'd hoped :) ). The second and third pics were taken by my sister of her and her husband's. Both my sister-in-law and my sister say they wash theirs by hand, and as you can see, they still look new. Now I can order more with the confidence that they will turn out just as beautifully!
