Mary Queen of Scots Still Yes Badge Button
This vintage look button badge is for supporters of Scottish independence. The design shows Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, from Lodge's portrait of the doomed queen in Sir Walter Scott's book, Tales of a Grandfather, published in Edinburgh in 1869. As everyone knows, Mary, who was brought up in France, fled to England seeking sanctuary only to be imprisoned then beheaded by order of Queen Elizabeth I. Beside Mary are the words Still Oui! If Mary were alive today, I think she'd have voted Yes, and stayed Yes! The background is a pattern of the famous Clan Stuart, or Stewart, dress tartan plaid. I've added an illustration of a Scottish thistle, the flower of Scotland, to her blouse.

I love the quality and the color and the design I got to customize them to the way I like my husband and I are different and it was really nice that I could custom mama instead of mommy or mom because I like to be called mama so that was nice and then I was able to make his big sisters to buttons as well so that was really nice. I love the design it’s simple it’s cute I can’t wait to wear them on my baby shower day.
