Maximilianeum Munich Labels
The Maximilianeum, a palatial building in Munich, was built as the home of a gifted students' foundation and has also housed the Bavarian Landtag (state parliament) since 1949.
The principal was King Maximilian II of Bavaria, who started the project in 1857. The leading architect was Friedrich Bürklein. The building is situated on the bank of river Isar before the Maximilian Bridge and marks the eastern end of the Maximilianstrasse, one of Munich's royal avenues which is framed by neo-Gothic palaces influenced by the English Perpendicular style. Due to statical problems the construction was only completed in 1874 and the facade of the Maximilianeum which was originally planned also in neo-Gothic style had to be altered in renaissance style under the influence of Gottfried Semper. The facade was decorated with arches, columns, mosaics and niches filled with busts. The building was extended on its back for new parliament offices, several modern wings were added in 1958, 1964, 1992 and again in 2012.

LOVE these waterproof labels! I've been using them on the back of Kindness Rocks, created in support of The Kindness Rocks Project. These rocks are given to people in need of a smile, during our Pet Therapy visits at local hospitals and other facilities. The labels stick extremely well to the painted rocks, do not wrinkle or tear, and are easily sealed without smearing. Well worth paying a bit extra...they're perfect! The vibrancy of the colors, flexibility of use on packages and envelopes, and the waterproof finish are all excellent properties in these high quality address labels. The design process was tricky, but once mastered, the end product was worth the time and effort. You can make all the labels the same, or you can vary them with different backgrounds.I loved the final result! The colors are incredibly vibrant, and the image on my computer screen was exactly what I designed and saw on the website. These turned out so lovely that I wanted to make the same design into business cards!
