My take on what I imagine Max's Video store (The Lost Boys) advertising might have looked like, taking into fact that it was the 1980's, so 2 color designs were common.
It was a video store, they wouldn't have the outlay for anything but cheap photostats and newspaper advertising.
Also, given that the proprietor was a (blood sucking) vampire, I assume that he wouldn't have been using flash portrait photographs, thus low quality imagery would also have been the go.
That is to say. This is supposed to look degraded and horrible.

Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
