He was the most average philosopher in Greece. He didn’t really advance the philosophy of the Greeks much during his time, saying that they had things figured out good enough. Along with Plato and Xenophon, Mediocretes was a student of Socrates. History says he was an average student, getting mostly Cs which he considered, again, good enough.
