This beautiful butterfly was created by Ella (age 11) who, at four years old, was diagnosed with stage 1 Ewing sarcoma, a type of cancer that grows
in the bones or in the surrounding tissue. This brave girl endured 14 rounds of chemotherapy at CHOC as well as a 15 hour surgery with more surgeries that followed. Ella fought courageously even through the obstacles along her journey. Today she is a happy and healthy young lady with a bright future.
