Aside from walking alongside family members battling the disease, more than 2,000 men were diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2010 (according to the American Cancer Society). By fundraising for the 2012 3-Day, our team is raising awareness and funds to help save lives. It is our hope that our involvement in this event will help the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation reach it's goal of eradicating breast cancer. You can show your support by buying a "Melon Supporter" t-shirt. 100 percent of our profits (roughly 15 percent of the cost of each shirt) will be donated to the Susan G. I figured since I got the cheapest of the shirt that it wouldn't hold up to the environment I was going to be in when wearing it. The shirt was soft and the fabric not too thin or too thick and more durable then I would have expected. The colors were good...I would have thought that they would have been a little more vibrant...the colors probably had more to do with the colors of the design then anything but over all I kind of thought it was cool that the printing on the shirt was basically "inked" into the fabric instead of the usage of fabric paint which usually can get warped and crinkled.
