Minton Arts & Crafts Wm Morris Style Repro 1890 Ceramic Tile

Reproduced from an 1890 original by Minton Tile Company in England. Minton was considered one of the premier ceramics manufacturers of the mid-19th through early 20th centuries. The original is handpainted in the blue green and indigo blue on an off-white/light gray ground, as is this one. Available in 4.5 inch and 6 inch tiles as well as other items. Decorative ceramic tiles are highly collectible and make great wall and backsplash tiles for kitchen and bath. They can also be used around a fireplace opening or as trivets, coasters, decorative accessories, table tops, and, of course, gifts.
