Mineral Character: Moldavite Moldavite is a green glassy mineral formed by a meteorite impact. In this case, it was one (and only one) extremely large meteorite that created all the Moldavite in existence. Rock that was melted by this impact cooled while still airborne and fell over a large area, mainly in Bohemia. Moldavite is believed by crystal healers to accelerate spiritual evolution and open the heart. So.. you could say it's a Bohemian mineral that looks to the stars.
