Monarch Butterfly Magnet

The Beautiful Monarch Butterfly! One of the most hearties of Butterflies. Famous for their seasonal migration. Medium in size, yellow body with black stripes, spots of white. Their host plant is the Milkweed plant. The Female plants her oval white eggs on the milkweed. Males have two black spots on their hind wings. This one I photographed, is newly reborn, just 10 minutes before this. I planted her on a pink marigold flower. The drink from nectar plants. Mainly their own host plant, the milkweed, with its red and yellow flowers. As a caterpillar, they are yellow white black stripes.
