This is the hand colored Wedgwood month of August tile and shows a girl feeding hens. Reproduced from a circa 1885 series of tiles representing the months of the year by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons. A great August birthday gift! or use as a wall or backsplash tile, fireplace surround, or decorative art. Available in 4.5 and 6 inch tiles as well as other items. We have two complete sets - this one in full color and another in blue and white.

From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
