Mt. McKinley Tee Shirt - Denali Alaskan Landscape

The snow covered peak of Denali (Mt McKinley) looms majestically in the distance as a cold, clear Alaskan stream rounds a bend in the foreground. At an elevation of 20,320 ft. Mt. McKinley towers above the Alaskan landscape. It’s majestic peak has served as inspiration for adventurers, artists and writers for many, many years. Also known as ‘Denali’, meaning ‘The Great One’, this mountain is the highest in North America and has a greater bulk rise than even Mount Everest. Artist Karen Whitworth lives in Wasilla with her husband and two children where the beauty of nature influences her art. During the winter months she can be found creating art in her studio from references collected on her various journeys or traveling the Hawaiian Islands visiting galleries and painting en plein air. During the summer months there is little one can do to keep her indoors. Karen packs up her paint and the kids and is often found enjoying the fresh air, artist style, recording the inspiration surrounding her.
