As a child I enjoyed watching my Dad’s diapositive slideshows.
We used to gather with our family in the darkened living room where Mexico of the Fifties came to life on screen!
My parents once visited Posada de la Mision in Taxco “where the walls were made of gemstones”, according to my mom’s memoirs.
I followed their footsteps in 2020 and was spellbound with the charm of the place.
Nowadays you can visit the mine located under the hotel, which is an example of the richness in minerals and gemstones of the area.
