"Muheconneok~ the waters that are never still" Poker Cards

The Mohicans and Mohegans are two different tribes. "Mohican" sounds a lot like "Mohegan," but that is because British colonists had trouble pronouncing the Mohican name for themselves, Muheconneok, and the Mohegan name for themselves, Mohiingan. Pronounced "muh-HEE-can." It comes from the word Muheconneok, which means "from the waters that are never still." That is the Mohican name for the Hudson River. The Mahicans of New York, who were the first tribe to be called Mohicans and the only tribe to call themselves by this name today. When James Fenimore Cooper wrote "Last of the Mohicans" in 1826, he made the Mahican famous. Unfortunately, he also made them extinct in the minds of many people and also confused their name and history with the Mohegan from eastern Connecticut. Unfortunately, this misconception has persisted, and most Americans today would be surprised to learn the Mahican are very much alive and living in Wisconsin under an assumed name ...Stockbridge Indians.

THESE LOOK INCREDIBLE. They are so high quality. Not super plastic, but great paper for the price. The acrylic box too! WOW!

I love everything about these cards except for the box. I wish there was a way to see the entire card design through the window. Other than that, the cards themselves are great. The printing is crisp and clear and the colors are vibrant. These cards do a good job of showing off my Create With Photos Oyster Flower designs. The cards printed as shown in the preview.
