About This Design

Muldoon Years Cards

Muldoon Years Cards

Hello Art lovers, well here it is the rerelease of the iconic and the famous Muldoon print from 1983.From the original screen-print by New Zealand artist Barry Cooke Originally a ten screen screen-print in a limited edition of 70 prints. It’s a strange design, Featuring Robert Muldoon prime minister (1975 to 1984) and Zig Zag papers one of the only products to increase in price during the price-freeze, 1982 to 1984, “Muldoon had shares in the company”. (Not sure that was ever true) The words “do up that button on your uniform” comes from the “screaming mee mees” song “Days goes by” from the record album “if this is paradise I’ll take the bag” 1982
