Muscular Pump (heart) drawing Card

Muscular Pump (heart) drawing by Brian Benson. This was drawn on a postcard, using a glass dip-nib pen and sepia ink, c2005. The somewhat cynical title was something I wrote under the original drawing; evidently I was ruminating on the dissonance between the heart taken as a symbol of romantic love and the heart as a bodily organ with a purely biological function. However, this contrast is rather undermined by the decorative aspects of the drawing.

As a designer, I love the quality of the fine paper Zazzle uses. The matte eggshell stock is heavy, feels great in the hands, and shows someone you really care to send the best. Zazzle printing does beautifully saturated color with no bleed-through on their quality card stocks.
