music explosion design black and white table lamp

This is one cool lampshade and lamp for a music enthusiast of any age! The stark black on white is stunning, and the pattern of musical notes emerging from what looks like an ink stain is entirely unique! The linen shade looks expensive, and offers lighting sufficient from which to read. The black musical notes are clearly set off by the white background on this expensive-looking linen shade. I have seen much more expensive lamps that do not look nearly as well-made.

I have purchased other similar lamps. I use them as extra light for guest's. They are inexpensive, easy to assemble and good height for reading. I like that there are many pre-made shades to choose from and that, like this one, you can use your own art. The only "con" is that the shade does heat, even with specified bulb. I would not leave it on all night. Printing is great. My granddaughter will be happy to see her artwork on her bedside table. The art does not cover the entire shade, but the background that shows can be matched easily.
