My Thoughts for You, / My "thoughts" for you - Watercolor Painting by Allison and Régnier My Grandmother's favorite flowers were pansies and I'm sure that is why they are also my favorite. She always used to say that she could see a different little face in each unique flower. This bunch with contrasting colors was painted for her with love. We have hilltop in France I once saw an enormous field of wild pansies. When I learned that the French word for pansies is the same word in French for "thoughts", that hilltop carpeted with thousands of little "thoughts", (thoughts) was a poetic reminder to me of how the Lord’s thoughts for me are. So, I named this painting My Thoughts for You, (My "thoughts" for you). My Thoughts for You - Watercolor by Allison and Régnier Thoughts were my grandmother's favorite flowers and that's certainly why I prefer them too. She often said that she saw a different little face in each flower. It was for her that I painted with love this bouquet in contrasting colors. One day, in France, I saw a huge field of wild thoughts at the top of a hill. When I learned that the French word "thoughts" meant both these flowers and thoughts, this field covered with thousands of little "thoughts" appeared to me as a poem that reminded me how many the Lord's thoughts for me are. That's why I called this painting "My Thoughts for You."

I was searching high and low for an invitation that went with a fire theme (account my mom wants 70 real live burning candles on the cake) surprise birthday party. I found these and couldn’t buy them quick enough! They far exceeded my expectations! One word of caution is that they default to matte so if you want glossy finish you have to manually select it. I only changed where the 2 clip art pics were located to make space for the text. I even used the default font for the design. Comes with nice white envelopes that don’t need the upgrade.
