The watch was what I expected from the description. It does have a thick case but that was evident to me from the photos and was what I wanted. It's also very easy to see the time from a distance if your vision is less than perfect like mine. I love it. Along with the writing, I chose a custom face color, font, and careful placement. I was a bit nervous how that would turn out, but I couldn't be more pleased. Everything was EXACTLY as I had specified.
