Inspired by the old wool squares, knitted and crocheted in love and neccessity by Grandmothers, Grandma's, Nanna's and Nonna's the world over. The patterns are created to replicate the plain and flowered handmade squares which formed the basis for bed blankets. Lvingly crafted, these blankets were made of wool scraps in different colors of the rainbow. This particular piece of art has been created digitally in pretty pastel colors of mint green, pink, blue, yellow and shades of purple and mauve. A pretty pattern for feminine women and girly girls. This would also be great for a new born baby nursery of kids room.

I wanted happier curtains in this window so I made a seamless repeat in the things and colors that make me happy and ordered them in this tapestry then made curtain rod pockets. I love how it came out and I can use the fabric to make something else when I’m tired of them. Excellent. The colors are bright and look great the fabric is soft and hangs well.
