Native American Red Black Kaigani Thunderbird Keychain

Native American Red Black Kaigani Thunderbird Keychain

Your keys are safe on this strong swirl metal key-chain with a beautiful Kaigani Thunderbird from British Columbia, Canada. The background is green. You can't go wrong with Northwest coast Haida art, it's been popular for decades. These First Nations designs are ideal for apparel and always look good. This Thunderbird is in the style of Kaigani people, a subgroup of the Haida. The original was found on the internet and redrawn. Due to my family in British Columbia, for instance Vancouver BC, Haida Formline art has been part of my life. The Pacific Northwest coast is a beautiful place where I spent some happy holidays and a couple of years ago I decided to learn some of its native art. Form-line is an indigenous art made by the First Nation people of Northwest coast of North America. The term form-line is invented by Bill Holm. We use the word since 1965, but the art is many hundreds of years old. The idea is to create a flowing continuous line with increasing and decreasing thickness. We get negative spaces with a dominant black outline. The negative spaces are filled with form-line type ornaments or elements. The main forms are ovoids, U forms and S forms. With these forms the artist composes a complete formline.

Dear Zazzle representative, I highly complement the metal keychain received which appears more attractive than the photo on website. There’s one question I wish to ask. Is the leaf 🍀 in the keychain a genuine leaf? It’s colour and contextual are more realistic than one I see in the nature. Yours sincerely, Catherine. The outfit of the keychain is excellent. I just wonder if I’ve mistaken the four leaf clover inside the keychain is genuine a leaf? Or is it a printing of the leaf which looks so real?

Oval Metal Keychain
Absolutely thrilled with my customized keychains! The photo of my Yorkie came out clear, the colors are vibrant & the quality is fantastic - it’s sturdy + well-made. Just ordered another one for my mom. Thank you to the Artist, Jenn, for creating such a beautiful piece! Highly recommend!

I honestly wasn't sure what the quality would be like, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a pretty solid key chain. After use for a few weeks, it's held up well. There are minimal scratches on the silver parts and none on the printed areas. I think this is going to make the perfect gift for some of my friends. Although I do think I'd personalize it with an initial. The printing is great. It looks exactly like the photo. Not quite as shiny as the metal, but really looks nice.
