I'm also making an advent calendar box, with little 1x1x1" box drawers, for lightweight special items, candy, to put inside, along with little fold up notes about Jesus, and his teachings of love and kindness. I wanted to make a version of the nativity, my own take. Along with cute baby Jesus in his manger, and his parents, Mary and Joseph on either side behind him, there is the angel Gabriel blowing his horn behind Mary, the angel of peace behind Joseph, on the left, to Mary's right, is the shepherd, his sheep, the donkey that carried Mary, and an ox. On Joseph's left, to the right, the 3 wise men, Melchior, Balthazar, and Gaspar, with their frankincense, myrrh, and gold, in their special vessels, and a camel.
