Nave Lanes Legends Tee

Before Novato demolished it for another strip mall, there was Nave Lanes—a weird mid‑century bowling alley with a dim cocktail lounge where men smoked under neon lights, in pigmented leather booths, amid the faint smell of rental shoes and fryer grease. This was where birthday parties happened, awkward neighbor “dates” were bowled through, and Marin kids learned the thrill of hurling a ball and praying it hit something. Now it’s gone, replaced by groceries, condos, and parking lots. I know it’s not even an Albertson’s anymore, but who cares—this tee keeps the memory rolling.
