NAWSA Commorative Historic Suffrage Pin Paper Plates

This is a modern graphic interpretation of one of the first American Suffrage Buttons. In 1896, the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA) adopted the design of a sunflower with the date of the Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 printed in the center as their new logo. It appeared on pins, literature, and stationary used by the organization. The Kansas campaign took place in 1867 and supporters wore yellow ribbons in commemoration of both suffrage and the state flower, a sunflower. The sunflower gold color was also integrated into the design of the final American Suffrage Flag. NAWSA later distributed a commemorative celluloid button like this one featured this 1848 sunflower design. Perfect for all your political parties!
