When you screen print white on black you have to it properly,
it's badly done, and black from the background surfaces into the white.
The cotton quality of the shirt is not combed, which is what I would have expected for paying over $20. the background black is seen through the printing,

this is cut wide and short, compared to modern t-shirts. so it's cut straight and sort of boxy, as opposed to more of a body-fitting or snugger shirt. it's also sort of short. i read online to buy larger than usual but my large is way too wide, even after a wash and tumble dry. i will donate it and maybe buy a medium. i am usually a size 6 or a small to medium at a store like the gap. underwhelmed by the shirt itself. a fine job. no complaints about the printing.

My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
