The Scottish Hay Clan’s New Slains Castle, in Aberdeenshire, is shown against the background of the popular red and green family tartan. The names of the castle and clan are in a gold-colored font. Now a roofless ruin, it overlooks the North Sea east of Cruden Bay in Scotland. The back features the same plaid and a brief history of the clan. The tartan is under Crown Copyright and is used courtesy of the Scottish Register of Tartans.
