New Zealand elegant design featuring a kiwi bird in black and pāua color with a green fern koru. The Kiwi bird is an icon for Aotearoa NZ being both a native bird and the name adopted by New Zealanders in reference to themselves. This NZ flightless bird has a black color head, beak and claws. The main part of the Kiwi's body is a pāua shell colour from the abalone sea shell found on many New Zealand beaches, and a green curved koru shape, often found on fern or in art and jewelry.
