Reproduction of Historic Archival T-shirt When Dan White, the assassin of San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone, was given the lightest possible sentence, protesters broke windows and burned police cars at San Francisco City Hall. The demonstration on May 21, 1979, came to be known as the White Night Riot. Those arrested sold this shirt to raise funds for their defense and to assert that the queer community had no reason to apologize for its righteous anger.

The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
