Things are a bit different here in Alaska. This item sports the logo of Fairbanks’ North Star Polo Club. Depicts a polo player mounted on a bull moose; his mallet raised. Actually, riding a moose as if it were a horse is not unheard of. Moose are easily trained when they are young and become close to their handlers. Sweden and Russia, and possibly some other Scandinavian countries experimented with moose cavalry units. Moose are far superior to horses as mounts in often marshy tundra and northern forests. Moose as cavalry mounts ultimately failed as the animals could not become accustomed to the noise created when weapons are fired.

The minute I spotted this item I knew I HAD to order these for my daughter's wedding for the Hotel Goodie Bags since the wedding was held at a vineyard. The quality is great and they were a little bigger than I expected but worked out and will be useful to the recipients to tote their books, papers, lunch etc for future use. The picture shows what we put inside to welcome our hotel guests. I was very satisfied with the printing on the tote and I liked I was able to choose the font and size for the bag.
