The Northern Blue Jay is native to Canada and easily recognized by its colorful plumage, black collar and head crest, with buff underside. These intelligent, nimble birds are members of the corvid family which includes crows and magpies. They have a vast repertoire of sounds from jungle shrieks to funny glugging sounds.
