Note on wearing of buckle: as is seen in the product photos, from the wearer's perspective, with the buckle facing outwards so that onlookers can see the design, the belt loop that attaches to the belt is on the right side of the buckle. This means that in order to keep a design right-side-up, the belt will need to be worn around the waist with the belt threaded starting from the right side of the body, which is typically how women's belts are worn. Men's belts are typically worn threaded around the waist staring on the left-hand side (again from the wearer's perspective, with the buckle facing outwards), so please keep this in mind with designing or purchasing a belt buckle.

Northwest Pacific coast Haida Weeping skull Belt Buckle

Decorate your pair of jeans with this cool belt buckle with a beautiful Haida Weeping Skull from British Columbia, Canada. The background is green. You can't go wrong with Northwest coast Haida art, it's been popular for decades. These First Nations designs are ideal for apparel and always look good. This is my first attempt to an original design. The skull is a subject which is often depicted in art. I designed this form-line skull in the frontal with one eye having a tear. Due to my family in British Columbia, for instance Vancouver BC, Haida Form-line art has been part of my life. The Pacific Northwest coast is a beautiful place where I spent some happy holidays and a couple of years ago I decided to learn some of its native art.
