Northwest Pacific coast Haida Weeping skull Otterbox iPhone Case

Northwest Pacific coast Haida Weeping skull Otterbox iPhone Case

America's most popular iPhone case the Otterbox Case must have a great design on its front. This American native Haida arts looks so cool on a Otterbox Case. You can't go wrong with Northwest coast Haida art, it's been popular for decades. These First Nations designs are ideal for apparel and always look good. This is my first attempt to an original design. The skull is a subject which is often depicted in art. I designed this form-line skull in the frontal with one eye having a tear. Due to my family in British Columbia, for instance Vancouver BC, Haida Form-line art has been part of my life. The Pacific Northwest coast is a beautiful place where I spent some happy holidays and a couple of years ago I decided to learn some of its native art. Form-line is an indigenous art made by the First Nation people of Northwest coast of North America. The term form-line is invented by Bill Holm. We use the word since 1965, but the art is many hundreds of years old. The idea is to create a flowing continuous line with increasing and decreasing thickness. We get negative spaces with a dominant black outline. The negative spaces are filled with form-line type ornaments or elements. The main forms are ovoids, U forms and S forms. With these forms the artist composes a complete form-line.

I love anything floral and wanted a floral OtterBox iPhone case that described my personality. There were none in the large box/online stores that suited me and there was such a minimal selection. I found Zazzle by accident and couldn't believe the HUGE assortment of floral OtterBox Defender cases available, let alone a customized one with my name on it. I've had OtterBox cases before and wanted one as my Phone is almost indestructible in it. I love it and will definitely shop at Zazzle again. I don't know how it was done, but the floral design and my name are permanently imbedded into the case. It is absolutely beautiful and vibrant and personifies ME!
