Obama FORWAR T-Shirt

Obama FORWAR T-Shirt

The 2012 edition of Dan McCall's Godking satire. Throughout the 2012 campaign, Obama used the word "Forward" as his official campaign slogan. Of course "forward" has a long history in the history of marxist literature, with Lenin founding the publication "Vpered" (the Russian word for "forward") in 1905, and many others following. Certainly not the wisest choice of slogans if the president was attempting to thwart accusations of being a marxist, but clearly he knew that for the most part few would notice or even care. (He was right, largely.) Of course in reality Obama is not a radical Marxist in action. The American system doesn't, and has never, allowed for such a thing. The "American System" - devised at the very founding of the Republic by Alexander Hamilton, through Henry Clay, and then carried further by Clay's most adoring pupil, Abraham Lincoln - was the the counter-position of the Jeffersonians and certainly the anti-federalists. It called for a centralizing force of government powers to control the finances of the nation through a central bank and interventionist policies which gave the ruling merchant oligarchy control. The Republic's history has been one of the gradual vanishing of the Jefferson remnants, toward the final realization and reinvention of the American System into what Carrol Quiqley- the famous Georgetown professor and mentor of Bill Clinton - might proudly call the globalist elite system. This system, as Quigley explains in his massive tome "Tragedy & Hope" was finally realized when the financial, military, and covert intelligence powers were coalesced under the executive branch, creating what President Eisenhower famously warned on his farewell address was a "military industrial complex." While in wars past America required declarations from Congress, and the gold standard system limited the scope of debt the government could create to continue them, the new system under what Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. dubbed "The Imperial President," was no longer limited by these factors. Indeed, not since has Congress declared a war, and of course Nixon's final abolishment of the gold standard unlinked the ever-vexing problem of war finance for the state. President Obama, is truly a creature of this new globalist oligarchy. With the suave veneer of populist progressiveness, and the full backing of the financial globalist system, President Obama single-handedly eviscerated the growing global anti-war movement that threatened the global power elite's interests. Likewise the growing pockets of social unrest, which eventually coalesced into the "occupy" movement, were disarmed by the President's calculated - yet false - air of progressiveness. Indeed, the president provided cover for the elite, allowing them to move "Forward" with their plans of endless war and conquest, while the rest of America, and World, was left behind. The savior of merchant elite.

The durability and quality is great. I am very pleased. The tee has met all of my expectations and my grandson loves it! i made it for a Christmas gift to give to him. Patrick plays the accordion very well! He said G-Ma I am going to wear it back to school the first day after the holidays! That really made me feel good and knowing that he really does love it! The colors did not run at all. Looks great! Looked exactly as online, but better in person.

My husband loves the way this shirt fits and I love that I was able to order it in one of our wedding colors to give him for our anniversary. The color of the shirt turned out better than expected and it washes up very nicely!
