An octopus emits ink while taking the shape of the letter "O" for Obfuscation, Octopus, Ocean, or whatever you like. The watery background is surrounded by a confetti of plastic, representing ever-increasing ocean pollution. The original painting by Leah Palmer Preiss was executed in acrylics over a collaged background of text & imagery scanned from an antique dictionary (defining "obfuscation") & an early edition of Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.
