Old Licking County Jail haunted T-shirt

The Haunted Old Licking County jail from the front with a full moon and the www.parajail.com at the bottom. the jail is located at 46th south 4th street, Newark Ohio 43055. It has played host to such famous investigators as the Ghost Adventures Crew and gave them some great scares. The Old Jail has had far more than its fair share of horror. It was built in 1887 in an age where punishment was deemed more important than correction. The Imposing structure was designed to look more like an ancient castle and has more in common with the Tower of London than with any modern jail/correctional facility. The Jailor/Sherriff and his family lived within these glum walls as well as the inmates and within the walls of this Castle like structure 3 of the Sheriff's died, along with at least 15 inmates half by suicide. A furious Mob once broke into the jail, drug out a man and lynched him on the nearby town square here in 1910. Famous killers and deranged psycopaths have shared the cells within these stone walls and their spirits may still be doing hard time here to this day.
