Old Man with Donkey in Snow ~ Gouche on paper ~ FC Frieseke ~ Both the man and the heavily-laden donkey are stooped against the wind and snow. I hear the wind howling around the figures and the little, bare trees. This images is a digital transformation of a slide from the 1960s of an even older work, no later than the 1930s. The paper was stained, the slide faded. I removed some of the flaws digitally but maintained the overall antique flavor of the artwork. ~ Miriam A Kilmer Linen requires less pesticide than conventional cotton.
