Awhile back I got a circa 1960 catalog of samples from a printer/designer of matchbook covers. This one reads ‘A codfish lays a million eggs, while the helpful hen lays one, but the codfish does not cackle to inform you what she’s done. And so we scorn the codfish, the helpful hen we prize, which indicates to thoughtful minds ‘It pays to advertise.’” Something super neato and epic retro for your advertising business and/or your retro EVERYTHING. I wanted happier curtains in this window so I made a seamless repeat in the things and colors that make me happy and ordered them in this tapestry then made curtain rod pockets. I love how it came out and I can use the fabric to make something else when I’m tired of them. Excellent. The colors are bright and look great the fabric is soft and hangs well.
