Their mother, my Great Grandma Clara (Claire) Sage Talla was 100% "full blooded" Norwegian as the family would say, because all four of my great grandma's grandparents were all born in Southern Norway and immigrated to America in the mid 1800s. I am almost age 71 (born July 9, 1952) as I write this and only just recently found out about paintings by my Great Aunt Margaret Enid Johnson Porter.
