The artist donates 100% of the profits on this shirt . She is actively involved with the conservation and rescue efforts of Orangutan Foundation International on the island of Borneo. This shirt shows three of over 350 orangutan orphans currently being raised at the Orangutan Foundation International Care Center on the island of Borneo. Over the decades, OFI has saved thousands of these gentle red apes. OFI also maintains feeding stations for the sub-adult orangutans that are released back into the wild. Releases are an on-going part of OFI's program to save this endangered species, and the costs to care for each orphan are at least $2,000 per year.
