Oriental Delft Blue Koinobori Fish Scale Pattern Otterbox iPhone Case

Oriental Delft Blue Koinobori Fish Scale Pattern Otterbox iPhone Case

America's most popular iPhone case the Otterbox Case must have a cool design on its front. This traditional Japanese fabric Koinobori print looks so great on a Otterbox Case. A traditional Japanese fish scale seamless pattern in traditional Dutch Delft blue. Deep blue on white is a beautiful traditional Chinese combination for porcelain, which was exported all over the world. It is a simple abstract design of fish scale you see a lot in Japanese prints. This kind of pattern is often used on fabric for yukata or a jinbei, traditional Japanese clothes for in the hot summer months. But I have seen the pattern also those typical Japanese windsocks, the Koinobori. When you think of this type of fabric, resist dyeing comes to mind. In Japan vintage techniques are roketsuzome with wax, katazome, yuzen and tsutsgaki with rice paste. A favorite method of applying paste is by means of a stencil.
