These pretty pink lilies were growing in a pot in my back garden, they really stood out amongst the other flowers and shrubs, I had to paint them, so I took a photo and painted them from the photograph, I was going to paint them from life, but… the British weather wouldn’t allow it and the rain would have destroyed the beautiful flowers before I had a chance to complete the painting (I’m a slow worker) This original and very pretty pink glazed glass mug will make a very special gift for mom, perhaps for mothers day, christmas or moms birthday, or maybe you just want to give your special mom something to show her how much she means to you.
