Our Lady of Fatima and the three shepherds Patch
Jacinta and Francisco were children who lived rural life at the time. They didn't go to school, they were shepherds, just like Cousin Lucia. She said that Francisco was a very calm boy and that he liked music, Jacinta was more sweet and spoiled, fragile.t is believed that Our Lady appeared to three children who were herding the family's sheep. There were six apparitions, every 13th, from May to October 1917. After the apparitions, Francisco liked to pray alone, and Jacinta was frightened by a vision of Hell and wanted to save sinners through penance and sacrifice. The three children practiced mortifications and penances that perhaps weakened their health. They ended up succumbing to the epidemic that happened in Europe in 1918. Francisco and their sister Jacinta were beatified in 2000 and canonized in 2017. This illustration was inspired by the many old religious cards that my grandmother kept with devotion. Very happy. The patch is sublimated, not embroidered so this works better with simpler designs and/or larger patches. These turned out fantastic with smaller names on a 4 inch patch. The edges are embroidered, no loose threads. The colors are nice. Shipping was faster than predicted, about 10 days, for 11 unique custom patches. (His full name was centered, I tried to edit out his last name so it looks wonky on here, but was perfect.).
