Our Lady of Fatima and white roses Gold Finish Lapel Pin

The first apparition of Fátima took place on May 13, 1917, in Cova da Iria, Portugal, to three little shepherds, Lúcia, Francisco, and Jacinta. Over the next six months, Our Lady of Fatima made several requests and shared secrets with the three seers. Today, there are two processions in the Sanctuary: the Procession of Candles and the Procession of Farewell. The image of Our Lady of Fátima is carried on a litter decorated with white roses. The rose, from which the word rosary derives, is preferred in decoration as it is the flower of Our Lady of Fátima, being white in the little chapel and on the litter. The litter can contain 600 or more roses that are placed there still in bud and then open slowly. The presence of this large amount of beautiful flowers on the litter inspired this illustration.
