The Schistosoma or "blood flukes" are possibly the most romantic of the endoparasitic worms, and among the few flatworms to have two distinct sexes. The thread-like female spends her entire life embedded in a groove along the larger, boatlike male, engaging in non-stop intercourse as they float within the host's blood vessels. The happy couple themselves cause negligible harm, but their thousands of spiny-shelled eggs trigger immunoreactions that can become life-threatening.

I oredred this shirt to wear for my Schstosoma presentation for my Microbiology class and it was a huge hit. I recieved the highest grade in my class and I credit part of that to my shirt from Zazzle making my presentation memorable. This is my new favorite T-shirt! The colors faded considerably after the first wash but the print is clear and the colors are still distinct.
