Paris Eiffel Inspired Pointillist Brooch Pattern Fabric

Make 108 Paris, France & Eiffel Tower inspired pointillist landscape art fashion brooch pins, with removable stainless steel metal 1 3/4" bar pin backs with this fabric by the yard! Art by Kristie Hubler, inspired by Paris, France & Eiffel Tower, and the shop facades inside Paris Las Vegas resort and casino. It is done in the pointillist style of fine art, using dots to make up an image, where your eyes mix the colors of the dots in the piece. With a yard of fabric, you can make 108 brooches to give out to your family and friends, OR have a sewing party, give them a 5x4" swatch to sew up! If you buy the 9x9" swatch for $6, you will have 2 full patterns and 2 partial pattern with the art for the front and the back panel with 2 holes for the pin back mechanisms to go through, for brooches. You can use a clear sheet protector, place it over the panels, and go around the panels with marker, cut the patterns out, and go to the fabric store, and buy solid colored fabric that coordinates with the lighter, aqua blue color on the back panel with the holes, to make the remaining 2 panels, one for the inside of the front finished panel, and one for the back. You'll only need an 1/8 yard (4 1/2" by 44-45") of the solid colored lt aqua fabric to complete the pin. If you buy the fat quarter, you will get 24 complete patterns, with all 4 panel part patterns to make 24 complete brooches.You won't need anymore fabric. From there, you will need: Thermoweb Heat n Bond fusible web, a fabric adhesive used as your pattern backing, that is paper backed and iron on. Cut a piece big enough, 5" wide by 4" long per pin. It comes 17" wide by the 1/8, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 etc. yardage, $2 per yard, before sale or store coupon, at JoAnn Fabrics, and by the 17" wide by 5 yard roll (great to do a hole yard or a fat quarter of this fabric), at AC Moore for $12 per roll, use a 50% off store coupon, or even cheaper, buy it by the roll at Michaels for $8.99 minus their 50% store coupon! An 1/4 yard will yield about 5 complete brooch pins, with 2" to spare. A yard yields 20 pins, plus an extra 3 complete pins when using leftover on side, at 2 1/2" increments per panel part x's 4 panels. Buy a little over a yard for the fat quarter amount, to complete the 24 pins, with needing only another 5x2" piece to to all 24 pins. Also needed: light aqua blue coordinating thread - by by the big roll, recommend Toldi Lock by Gutermann, light blue, $4 minus 50% off sale or store coupon pin back - comes 1 3/4" size, in packs of 10 in some places, but mostly 44 or 48 at Michaels, AC Moore, or JoAnn Fabrics, for about $3-$4 per pack Iron, sewing machine, denim weight needles, straight pins, QUALITY craft store hole puncher OR small, pointy embroidery scissors, to cut out 2 holes on the back of both panels that make the finished back panel, fabric scissors, scissors to cut Thermoweb, pencil or pen, and ruler.
