The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel is the iconic crown jewel of San Miguel de Allende, a city renowned for its colonial charm. Its distinctive neo-Gothic towers were designed by an indigenous stonemason, Zeferino Gutiérrez, who reportedly used postcards of European cathedrals for inspiration.
