Pastis Olive - Comme a Marseille Round Clock
In 1932 Pastis, introduced by Paul Ricard, emerged some 17 years following the ban on absinthe. Shortly after, Pernot, a former-Absinth producer in France, began to sell its own version of this drink. It soon became the favourite of all in Marseille. In 1936, the first French paid holidays further popularized Pastis, and it became the most popular aperitif in France.

The clock works perfectly. I am so happy to have found this clock on Zazzle. I grew up in Fond du Lac, WI so this lighthouse has great meaning to me. I have searched for something like this for years and couldn't even find pictures in town like this. So thank you for the pleasant surprise. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. The reproduction of my art was excellent, the clocks are simple, easy to hang and are attractive. Just would like to order more at the discount I had! The printing was excellent. I couldn't ask for better. The colors were spot on to the image of my painting, "Never Alone".
My pic does not at all do the clock(s) justice. They're wonderful - or were. I sold all in my studio within 24 hours!
